Magenta Juggling Convention 13.-15.6.2025
In the summer of 2025, Sirkus Magenta will be hosting its second juggling convention! The convention starts on Friday 13th of June at 4 pm and ends on Sunday 15th of June at 6 pm. Convention will be located at Sirkus Magenta’s venue, Itäkatu 7. There will be workshops, games and of course, lots of juggling throughout the weekend. The event is suitable for everyone, you don’t need previous experience in juggling or your own equipment.

Early bird ticket prices (until 30th of April):

Tickets are also available at the door (paying methods MobilePay and card). One day ticket costs 60 € and is only available at the door.
It’s possible to stay overnight at the venue with your own sleeping bag, but for security and cost reasons, a sleepover will cost an additional 20 € and will be allowed only for adults (+18 years old).
Magenta’s circus venue is located in the urban area of Itäkeskus, in close proximity to lots of shops and restaurants. However, for those who want to save some money and support Magenta, you can preorder lunch through the same registration form for only 5 € per lunch.

FAQ
1. Can I get a ticket at the door?
Yes you can buy a ticket for the entire weekend at the door for the price of 120 € or a day ticket for 60 € (available only at the door).
2. Can I bring my kids?
Yes you can bring kids under 7 years old for free. Older kids pay full price. You are responsible that they don’t put themselves or anyone else in danger and that they do not disturb other participants. Keep in mind that the event is primarily for adults.
3. Will there be showers available?
There are two showers available at the premises.
4. Is there a kitchen available?
There is a kitchen available at the convention. It has a microwave, fridge, oven and basic cooking equipment. There is also an extra microwave available in the lobby.
5. Are there shops or restaurants nearby?
Magenta Juggling Convention is in Sirkus Magenta which is located inside the ITIS shopping mall. ITIS has lots of restaurants and shops. Closest shop to the convention is LIDL and it’s located 1 minute walk from the garage entrance.
6. Where can I sleep?
One training hall will be allocated for sleeping between 11pm and 7am. There will be some crash mats available but beside that one should bring their own sleeping bag.
7. What if I get locked out?
Entrance doors will be locked between 11pm and 7am. If you need to get inside between those hours you can talk with volunteer on the shift by calling the convention number: 04578746836.
8. Can I store my valuables somewhere?
For those who stay overnight there’s a possibility of storing valuables in Magenta’s office which will be locked at all times. Only a few trusted volunteers will have keys to the office.
9. Do I need to know how to juggle for this event?
This event is open for everyone, so you do not need to know how to juggle and this would be a great opportunity to learn. There will be workshops for all levels.
10. What equipment is there available for use?
Magenta has plenty of juggling equipment available such as balls, clubs, flowersticks, hoops, rings, diabolos, hats, staffs. There is not necessarily enough of everything for everyone and for the best experience it’s advisable to have your own equipment.
11. Will there be food at the event?
At the event there will be vegan lunch for 7 € per person or for 5 € if you preorder lunch when you purchase the convention ticket. If you preorder lunch and have some allergies, please inform MJC coordinator Leo Kaipiainen () so MJC team can take them in consideration.

Arriving at the circus venue by walking / accessible route

From Tallinnanaukio: Enter the shopping center through the metro station entrance doors. Walk down the corridor towards the S-market. Turn left in the corridor.
Go down to level -2. You can reach it either by escalator or via the accessible elevator next to the Fotoyks store.
On level -2, the exit to Itäkatu is between the Thai Orchid Market and Megaeläin stores. Once outside, turn left and continue along Itäkatu until you see the Sirkus Magenta venue on the left-hand side. The venue is at the corner of the building, before the entrance to the parking garage.

Arriving at the circus venue by car
Itis shopping center offers free parking time.
Itis is located at the intersection of Kehä I and Itäväylä. The entrance to the parking garages is from Itäkatu, next to Sirkus Magenta’s venue. Drive into the left-side parking garage to level -2. The right-side parking garage is color-coded red.
You can access Sirkus Magenta’s venue directly from the parking garage. The door is near parking spot number 45.
